If you have the rice cooker, you don't need to read further. This recipe is for those who will be cooking in a pan.
Whenever a recipe requires us to cook the rice separately and mix it, we need each grain to stand out, celebrating its individuality, even when together.
Something that we too need to aspire to!
Preparation
Wash and soak the biryani rice for half an hour.Â
Then take a pan with a proper lid. In it, pour a little more than double the amount of water. (so for 1 cup of rice, take about two ¼ cups of water).Â
Place it on a high fire and add salt and a little oil. Once it starts to bubble, immediately add the soaked rice. Allow it to simmer for one min. Please bring it to medium flame for three minutes. You will see bubble holes forming.
Now reduce the flame to low, cover the rice, and allow it to cook for 10 min. Once the time is up, put off the heat.Â
Wait for 5 min and then open the lid, and you will find the rice perfectly done. Use a fork and gently turn over the rice onto a plate and allow it to cool. You can use the fork to separate the rice in case it is sticking together.Â
